After two rehearsals and a meet up we are ready to perform tomorrow. I think it will be relaxed almost like a rehearsal as we are still finding our feet and how we want to sound/ present ourselves. Jo is putting my guitar and his guitar and the synth through the tape machine and then the vocals are going to just have light reverb on and go staright to pa so that they slightly hover above the rest of the sounds. The tape machine put a nice grainy texture and marries together the sounds. We are keeping it very simple to start and seeing what we can do witht this then we will slowly collect more swag like a new bedroom.
I have written some lines to say at the start which i wrote on my notes page yesterday which i collected from a few poems i had written and a diary entry.
I prepared last night by playing the synth and saying the words and then sending this to Jo so tey had an idea of what to start with. On Jo’s suggestion I have also writeen them some key words to think about while improvising.
